There are so many Karens terrorizing our communities that we’re almost out of specifiers. This is a story about Pizza Hut Karen, a customer who allegedly threw an actual pizza at someone in a Pizza Hut.
That in itself is egregious and probably considered assault. She then had the audacity to demand they remake the pizza?? Why would they give you more weaponry, ma’am?
It was taken in Fort Worth, Texas, based on a sign hanging in the Hut itself, though the Daily Dot reports there’s no further information. So, I guess someone resisted calling the police on this lady:
It’s unclear what started the altercation, though I’m guessing Pizza Hut Karen was unhappy with her food. She throws the pizza and the worker tells her to “get the f-ck out” to which she demands to speak to a manager, somehow imagining they’ll be on her side.
A manager does come back, telling her, “Ma’am, you have to step back, please.”
Once again, she demands her pizza gets made again, saying the worker called her a “b—tch” and that it was actually HE who threatened to throw the pizza at HER. From the background, that employee can be heard yelling, “I have burn marks.”
The woman asks to speak to a different manager, but it seems she has gone as far up the ladder to complain as she can.
“Calm down,” says the actual manager. “Stop yelling at our employees, and stay behind the counter or else we have to call the cops. That’s not optional for us. That’s our corporate policy.”
The video ends with the woman on the phone waiting to speak to Pizza Hut’s corporate headquarters, probably hoping to talk to Mr. Hut himself.
Some say she is still on hold to this day. If I were Pizza Hut Karen I would not want corporate to see this video, because it definitely seems like the kind of incident that would and should result in a lifetime ban. And there aren’t too many great places to get pizza in Texas.
