PRINGLES POP DOG BUNS CAME FREE WITH A $6.97 THREE-PACK
Pringles Pop Dog Buns turned chip flavors into potato-based hot dog buns, and they came free with a $6.97 Three-Pack.
Pringles announced the limited-edition buns on July 6, 2026, in a release on PR Newswire. The company called them a first-of-its-kind line of Pringles-flavored, potato-based buns.
The buns came in three flavors: Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ and Honey Mustard. Each measured 7.5 inches long, sized to fit Pringles’ signature cans, and they were packaged in those cans too.
“We wanted to take something everyone knows and completely flip it into an exciting new snackable experience,” said Mauricio Jenkins, Salty Snacks Brand & Content Lead at Mars Snacking North America, in a statement tied to the press release.
What the buns were supposed to taste like
Pringles described the Sour Cream & Onion bun as tangy, savory and creamy. The BBQ bun was billed as smoky with a touch of sweetness.
The Honey Mustard bun combined honey sweetness with mustard tang.
Jenkins said the idea was about “reimagining ordinary, bland buns and transforming them into an extraordinarily flavorful experience fit for our iconic cans.” He also said, “Our mission is to continually deliver the unexpected to our fans.”
The launch was part of Pringles’ “Once You Pop” campaign, USA Today reported. Jenkins even worked in a slogan: “Once You Pop, The Pop Dogs Don’t Stop.”
The press release tied the buns to summer cookouts and National Hot Dog Day.
Delish reported that actual Pringles chips could also be piled onto a hot dog for extra crunch.
Food Network said it got an early taste of the buns before they went public.
How to get them
The buns cost nothing extra with the purchase of a Pringles Three-Pack, which was priced at $6.97. The pack held Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ and Honey Mustard Pringles crisps.
Fans could order through OnceYouPopMarket.com or through Pringles’ Instagram and Facebook Shops, while supplies lasted.
Pringles also invited customers to sign up on OnceYouPopMarket.com for email alerts about the drops.
The buns were offered in online drops at noon ET on July 8, 2026, and July 15, 2026.
What happened next
The first drop went live on July 8, 2026. InspireMore reported that it “sold out before many people even knew they existed.”
Pringles then lined up a second chance. That drop was scheduled for noon ET on July 15, 2026, the same day as National Hot Dog Day.
