LINDSAY CLANCY’S PARENTS’ FUNDRAISER TOPPED $830K
Donors from Belize, Australia and the U.K. pushed a GoFundMe for Lindsay Clancy’s parents past $830,000.
The fundraiser for Paula and Mike Musgrove had passed that mark toward a $2 million goal by August 17, 2026, Fox News reported. The money is for the couple, not for their daughter. The GoFundMe page was created on August 11, 2026.
Messages from supporters poured in from overseas. “Sending love from Belize, Central America,” one donor wrote. Another wrote, “Sending love from Australia,” and a donor from the U.K. left a short note: “Sending support.”

The case of Lindsay Clancy went to trial on charges that she allegedly killed her three children, CT Insider reported. The fundraiser page said the allegations date to January 2023 and the family’s Duxbury, Massachusetts home.
The fundraiser is run by Brandee Mulligan, who said she is not related to the Clancy or Musgrove families. The page names Michael Musgrove as the beneficiary and says Mike and Paula receive the funds directly.
The page said the money is meant to help the couple recover financial stability after years of costs tied to supporting their daughter. According to the description, they traveled, stayed in hotels, attended court proceedings and relocated from Connecticut to Massachusetts to stay close to her.
Mulligan spoke to CT Insider.
She said the goal was to “rebuild the financial stability they have sacrificed over these past three years.”
What happened next
On September 4, 2026, the jury in Clancy’s trial deadlocked.
Two days later, on September 6, 2026, Mulligan said the fundraiser’s goal had been raised to $3 million. She also said GoFundMe rules prevent the money from being used for Clancy’s legal fees.
The donations kept coming. On October 16, 2026, the page showed $1,252,813 raised from 36,272 donations.
Prosecutors could retry Clancy, negotiate a plea agreement or abandon the case, CT Insider reported. Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz said he had not decided whether to seek a retrial.
