TRUMP BROUGHT HIS OWN TOILET TO TURKEY, REPORT CLAIMED
Secret Service agents reportedly brought Trump’s private toilet to Turkey, with plans to fly his waste back to the United States.
Donald Trump was in Ankara for the two-day NATO summit that ended July 8, 2026, and stayed at the JW Marriott, AOL reported. Turkish outlet T24 claimed the Secret Service brought a separate toilet system for him. Trump was expected to leave Wednesday.
Haberler also reported that a personal toilet system was brought over from the United States. It said his waste would be taken back rather than left in local sewage.
The thinking is that biological waste can reveal health information, so leaders are believed to take such precautions to keep it from being exploited for intelligence. Lee Yun-keol, a former North Korean Guard Command unit worker who defected to South Korea, told The Washington Post that Kim Jong Un’s waste is handled that way. “The leader’s excretions contain information about his health status so they can’t be left behind,” he said.
A hotel locked down for the U.S. team
The JW Marriott was reserved entirely for the U.S. delegation, which was reported to number 1,400. That group included politicians, diplomats, military officials and CIA members.
Secret Service agents worked with Turkish police and hotel security during the visit. The hotel’s electrical, water, ventilation and fire-suppression systems were examined before Trump arrived.
Elsewhere, the Treasury secretary said the U.S. Mint will produce a $1 coin with Trump’s face on it.
Putin and Kim were said to do it too
The article compared the Trump arrangements with practices attributed to other world leaders.
Vladimir Putin’s Federal Protection Service reportedly collected his waste in special bags and carried it back to Russia in a briefcase. That account came from two veteran investigative journalists writing for Paris Match, and Putin’s May 2017 visit to France was cited as one example.
Kim Jong Un’s travel setup was also reported. The Chosunilbo reported that he arrived for the 2018 Singapore summit on an IL-76 transport plane carrying food, his bulletproof limousine and a portable toilet.
Lee described the same habit when he spoke to The Washington Post. “Rather than using a public restroom, the leader of North Korea has a personal toilet that follows him around when he travels,” he said.
What happened next
On August 12, 2026, The Independent reported that Trump said he was moved to another aircraft during the return from Turkey. He described it as part of a security “deception operation” after an assassination threat.
“I go by Secret Service and the military,” Trump said. “They wanted me to go in a different flight, different plane. I just have to do what they say.”
That aircraft account is separate from the toilet report.
