17 THEME PARK WORKERS AMONG 281 ARRESTED IN FLORIDA STING

Florida’s Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested 281 people in a seven-day undercover operation aimed at adults seeking sex with children and at human trafficking, and 17 of them worked at theme parks. Sheriff Grady Judd announced on October 30, 2026, that the Florida sex sting, called “Polk Around and Find Out II,” also netted a youth football coach and a Navy sailor, according to the New York Post.

Thirteen of the people arrested were Disney employees and four worked at Universal Studios, CBS News reported. Judd said Disney told him it had fired all of its employees who were arrested.

“The focus here is to go out into the underworld and look for those who want to prey upon our folks,” Judd said. He called it the largest sting in the county’s history.

According to the sheriff’s office, 239 of the arrests were prostitution-related and 31 involved alleged child predators. Detectives filed 488 new charges, 198 of them felonies. Investigators also rescued 11 people who were being trafficked, and all were offered services, Judd said.

Collin Klaco, 24, of Clermont allegedly told detectives he used to dress as Mickey Mouse at Disney World. Authorities say he communicated with an undercover detective posing as the guardian of a 13-year-old boy, then showed up at the undercover location. Detectives said they found diapers and wipes in a backpack he carried in. Judd said Klaco brought two backpacks of diapers that he planned to wear and put on the boy. The sheriff called him the “nastiest person we’ve ever arrested.”

Adam Snyder, 24, of Champions Gate allegedly messaged a detective posing as a 14-year-old boy and then went to meet him. Police said Snyder worked at the Roundup Rodeo restaurant in Disney’s Toy Story Land and was still in his uniform when he was arrested.

Judd named Rashion Crayton, 31, of Bartow, the “worst of the worst.” The sheriff’s office said Crayton is head coach of the Davenport Titans, a youth football and cheer organization. He allegedly messaged a detective posing as a 14-year-old girl, and Judd said the texts were too graphic to share in full.

One message Judd did read aloud: “I can pick you up at school, and then we can have sex in the car.” Crayton allegedly arrived with sex toys.

Snyder, Klaco and Crayton were each charged with traveling to meet a minor, a second-degree felony, along with three third-degree felonies: using a computer to seduce a child (or solicit a guardian, in Klaco’s case), using a two-way communication device to commit a felony, and attempted lewd or lascivious battery on a minor.

Dang Thai, a 24-year-old Navy machinist, allegedly lied about being 17 and was arrested for trying to have sex with a minor, Judd said. After his arrest, Thai protested that he had “top secret clearance.”

Of the 281 arrested, 117 were charged with soliciting prostitution, including an Orange County deputy, and 122 with committing prostitution. Nine were on probation, 31 had prior prostitution charges and 36 were married when they were arrested.
