Earlier this week, actor Jamie Costa set the internet ablaze when he shared a clip of his impression of Robin Williams. The clip, which was uploaded to his YouTube channel and titled ROBIN Test Footage Scene, focused on a moment between Costa as the late comedian and Sarah Murphree as Pam Dawber.

The duo was captured portraying Williams and Dawber on the set of Mork & Mindy. Costa is seen running lines in preparation to step into the role of Williams’ character, Mork, while sitting in hair and makeup. Then suddenly, Dawber, who played Mindy McConnell on the show, comes in to break the news of John Belushi’s passing.

“John is not dead, I was with him last night,” Costa said, as he delivered a heart-achingly beautiful reaction to the tragic news.

While it’s not yet known whether the clip is actually a part of a full biopic about Williams, SFist notes, it could just be “publicity stunt to generate interest (or investors) in a Robin Williams movie” with Costa in the lead role. Still, fans remain hopeful as they share their thoughts and feelings about the powerful performance.

1. “Twitter is making me cry today! WTH!???????? Saw the full video of #jaimecosta as #RobinWilliams. Incredible! Need him to play in the biopic. ASAP!,” tweeted actor Ming-Na Wen.

2. “I don’t often get goosebumps from something truly uncanny, but this is quite magical footage. Even when he just says ‘no’ with sadness, the resemblance is remarkable,” another user chimed in.

But despite the overwhelming show of support for the biopic and Costa’s performance, some users were vehemently against the idea.
