Donald Trump lost. It was announced on Saturday that President Donald Trump lost his reelection bid to former Vice President Joe Biden and when the news broke, the president was playing golf on one of his courses. Everyone was itching to see the president’s reaction to the news and on his way home from the course, one man named Alex Edelman captured the president’s reaction.

As Trump’s motorcade pulled up, Edelman snapped the picture that would be sent around social media and posted by Trump’s critics. One of which being Morgan Freeman, as he captioned the photo, “PHOTO OF THE YEAR: Donald J. Trump watches the celebration of his election loss as he returns to the White House from playing golf at his country club.” He didn’t forget to include the hashtag, #YOUREFIRED.

Major cities across the country celebrated Biden’s victory and what this will mean for the next four years. Hundreds of people waited outside of the White House for Donald Trump to return in his presidential motorcade and once the car turned inched closer to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, he was met with boos and people holding up the middle finger to him.

President Trump has yet to concede and instead, filed multiple lawsuits in every swing state to contest the outcome of the election, baselessly claiming voter fraud. While nothing might come of the lawsuits, he has refused to swiftly begin the transition of power to president-elect Joe Biden and has also hinted at refusing to leave the White House.

Biden’s campaign spokesperson, Andrew Bates, issued a statement saying “As we said on July 19th, the American people will decide this election. And the United States government is perfectly capable of escorting trespassers out of the White House.”
