In his first-ever official endorsement, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave it to the Democratic nominees, former Vice President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. He posted a video on Instagram and included in the caption that he identifies “as a political independent and centrist for many years, I’ve voted for Democrats in the past and as well as Republican.” Pissing off his more conservative followers.
He continues to say in his caption, “In this critical election, I believe Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the best to lead our country, and as my first ever (public) Presidential endorsement, I proudly endorse them for the presidential office of our United States.”
In the six-minute long video, the wrestler-turned-actor has a conversation with Biden and Harris, asking them about their plans to help unite the nation and earn the respect and trust of American citizens. At the beginning and end of the video, the Rock shares his own beliefs and values.
