In case you haven’t noticed, the Trump tell-alls are being dropped at an astounding rate. We’ve had John Bolton release one, Trump’s niece had her own, and now Melania Trump’s former friend has released a tell-all.
Stephanie Winston Wolkoff has been hitting the press circuit lately to promote her new book, Melania and Me, which was released Sept. 1. Wolkoff had been friends with the First Lady for nearly 20 years and even served as an East Wing adviser. Wolkoff had her falling out with Melania two years ago and claims the Melania she met is not the same person as today.
Obviously, there is a lot to unpack in every Trump tell all, but this one is really special. Wolkoff confirmed the weird tension between Melania and Ivanka Trump. Through the book, we learned about “Operation Block Ivanka” — a petty plan to make sure Ivanka Trump was pushed out of inauguration photos. We also learned that Melania refers to Ivanka as “princess.”
One of the most ridiculous pieces of information that came from Melania and Me was a tidbit about why it took so long for Melania to move into the White House. For months after the inauguration, Melania and her son Barron stayed in New York. It turns out she was waiting for a particular home renovation.
That’s right, Melania did not want her butt to touch the same toilet Michelle Obama’s butt touched. Racist flex, bro.
“I gave Melania the benefit of the doubt that she was my friend, she was different than Donald was, she was different than the other Trump children,” Wolkoff said in an ABC interview. “Trump is a Trump is a Trump.”
Well, we should point out that Melania has subscribed to birtherism for more than a decade, so… is it really a surprise?
