Model Karlie Kloss has done what a lot of models do: marry someone rich and powerful. That person for Kloss is Joshua Kushner and they tied the knot in 2018. So you can’t say that Kloss didn’t know she was marrying herself with Jared Kushner’s brother and in so doing, aligning herself with the Trump family. She and Ivanka Trump are sisters-in-law, and she is spending time with them.
In fact, the couple literally bought a property in Miami just a few minutes from Jared and Ivanka in late 2020, Vanity Fair reported at the time. Just the same, Kloss seems to have much more liberal politics than the rest of the Kushner clan.
She's posted about voting for Biden and Harris, or at least wearing a mask with their names on it:
And on Wednesday, as a mob of Trump supporters took over the Capitol building, she tweeted, "Accepting the results of a legitimate democratic election is patriotic. Refusing to do so and inciting violence is anti-American."
This tweet attracted a lot of attention. One person replied, "Tell your sister in law and brother law."

Kloss actually answered them, writing simply, "I've tried."
Has she? People have been shading Kloss for her family connection for a long time, most iconically on an episode of Project Runway, when a designer asked if she'd wear a piece to "dinner with the Kushners" and she kind of gasps, like it's shocking anyone would mention it:
The conversation in the replies is very heated. There are a lot of people who seem to identify with Kloss and having relatives who voted for Trump or who have opposing political views. They don't think she is remotely responsible for what anyone else does.
There are just as many people who feel that a vote is pretty different from profiting off a business co-owned by the two brothers, and being able to afford a $23.5 million mansion in Miami:
Ultimately, Karlie Kloss isn't responsible for what happened on Wednesday or as complicit as, say, a Republican Senator like Ted Cruz, for example. But maybe she is going to two many dinners at the Kushners to really be objective.
