A Florida man strikes again. Actually, two.
Apparently, an intense road rage incident between two Florida men turned to physical violence when one of the men pulled out a knife — which then caused the other man to pull out his gun.
According to authorities, Rafael Vincent Rivera, 50, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. The confrontation occurred about 80 miles north of Orlando, in Palm Coast.
An intense road rage dispute between two men landed one of them behind bars Tuesday after he pulled out a knife, prompting the victim to display a gun, authorities said.

Rivera was driving when the victim cut in front of him with a motorcycle. When both came to a stop, Rivera exited his car with a knife instead of just screaming obscenities out the window like anyone else would.
As Rivera approached the car, the motorcyclist grabbed brass knuckles that, you know, he just had in case. They then exchanged words which were captured on the victim’s wife’s cell phone. Rivera then began “slashing” the knife towards the victim.

Then, the motorcyclist pulled out a handgun (he is licensed to carry a concealed weapon) and told Rivera to back away.
“Tragic disagreements should never result in violence in our streets,” said Sheriff Rick Staly in a statement.

Both men were detained, and after seeing the video of the incident and speaking with witnesses, Rivera was arrested.
