Social media users are furthering a conspiracy theory from 2017 and 2018 that First Lady Melania Trump is using a body double. There have been a handful of instances where some have said the First Lady doesn’t look like herself, and photos of President Donald Trump and Melania stepping off of Marine One from the weekend added fuel to the fire.
Some people mentioned that the woman in the picture is smiling — something Melania doesn’t do often — and they also noted some physical features they claim point Melania Trump doesn’t have. A lot of people on the internet had reactions to the alleged Melania Trump body double, which the White House has yet to comment on.
“The only thing I’ll miss from this administration is them swapping in new Melania’s and just pretending we won’t notice like a 4-year-old with a guppy,” comedy writer Zack Bornstein said in a tweet over the weekend.
