At a recent rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Trump said that if he lost to Former Vice President Joe Biden in the 2020 election, then “you’ll never see me again.”
“If I lose to him, I don’t know what I’m gonna do,” he tells his supporters, “I will never speak to you again; you’ll never see me again.” After he made this comment, Biden took it and turned it into a campaign ad.
The Biden campaign took the footage, added some closed-captions and a simple “I’m Joe Biden, and I approve this message.”
Once the ad made its way over to Twitter, people appreciated and enjoyed the ad’s succinctness.
The race towards the presidency is close and the two candidates are polling in very close proximity to each other. According to a poll in FiveThirtyEight, Biden is leading the polls with an almost 7% lead.
With the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, he is pushing to fill her seat in the court but many, including Biden, are calling for her seat to be filled after the election.
“To jam this nomination through the Senate is just an exercise in raw political power,” Biden said, “I don’t believe the people of this nation will stand for it. President Trump has already made it clear this is about power, pure and simple.”
