SOPHIE RAIN SAID SHE GAVE $121K ONLYFANS CASH TO CHARITY
The Sophie Rain donation to Feeding America put $121,000 in OnlyFans earnings toward feeding families, she said.
Rain, a Florida-based OnlyFans model who was 21 at the time, pledged to give all of her earnings from September 30, 2025, to the hunger-relief nonprofit, PEOPLE reported. The money was raised in 24 hours.
“I decided from the start that 100% of what I made would go straight to Feeding America,” Rain told PEOPLE.
She also spoke to Us Weekly, saying the giving was part of a birthday campaign called #GoonForGood. It later grew beyond her original idea.
“I didn’t want to keep a single dollar of that money,” Rain told the magazine.
She added: “If I can turn attention from my content into food on someone’s plate, then I’m going to do it every time.”
What Rain posted next
On October 26, 2025, Rain shared screenshots of her earnings and a thank-you letter on X, according to reports. Complex quoted her post:
“Thanks to you guys we were able to raise $121,000 on my OnlyFans to feed the homeless in America!”
The letter was attributed to Casey Marsh, identified in coverage as Feeding America’s chief development officer. It thanked Rain for a $121,000 donation received October 2, 2025.
“Your support drives our efforts as we work to achieve an America where everyone has dignified, equitable access to the food they need to thrive,” the letter read, Where Is The Buzz reported.
PEOPLE ran the math using the estimate on Feeding America’s website of how many meals a single dollar can provide. By that figure, $121,000 could cover close to 1.2 million meals.
Who Feeding America is
Feeding America is a nonprofit network working to fight hunger in the United States, PEOPLE reported. The Miami Herald described it as working through food banks and partner agencies.
Rain’s post said the money was meant to feed people in America. Complex reported she described the intended impact as feeding families in need.
The reaction
Not everyone bought in right away. Complex reported that some X users questioned the thank-you note because it did not name the nonprofit. The outlet said it identified Marsh as Feeding America’s chief development officer.
Rain said some people called the campaign “weird” and laughed at it, Us Weekly reported.
She said people who had never heard of OnlyFans told her they donated too.
Feeding America had not publicly confirmed the donation or responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
