A woman who apparently self-identifies as a “luxury travel influencer” has fumbled her own bag by trying to get another woman punished over a parking spot argument. The entire altercation was posted on Reddit by u/Afitz93, who explained that she was in a tourist town and discovered locals won’t stand for someone standing in a parking spot to save it.
“YOU GUYS,” she opened. “I was just standing in a parking space saving it for a friend and someone tried to literally run me over.”
“So I apparently look threatening enough where they won’t talk to me but will try to hit me with their vehicle.”
“I told her very nicely that the spot was taken and she didn’t like that.”
“She legit was pushing me with her car so I finally moved. I am FURIOUS WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE.”
She added that they sat in the car for a while, hoping she’d go away.
And when the woman finally got out, she told the influencer “that’s not how it works,” probably meaning that you can’t save parking spots.
Then, the influencer tried to dox the woman and get her followers to identify her.
She also posted the lady’s license plate:
She must have started getting a lot of pushback, even from the people who follow her. In what appears to be a later post, she starts to walk back her actions, saying that even though it wasn’t proper etiquette to stand in the spot it “didn’t warrant” the lady approaching her with a whole car:
“Am I wrong?” she demanded to know.
Well, according to the people of Reddit, she absolutely was.
It seems as though this woman’s entire account has been deleted, though it’s not clear if it was her own deletion or the result of being reported by so many people who hate parking spot standers. Are you one of them?
