A young child was caught on video completely abusing a McDonald’s worker. The video was uploaded to Instagram.
First the boy throws a milkshake at the clerk, who tries to calm him down. Then the boy throws a cup at her.
The video cuts to the child standing barefoot on the counter. Another staff member watches in the background.
After a moment, a man grabs the boy by the shirt and pulls him out of the restaurant.
It is not clear which McDonald's location was the scene of the altercation or when it took place. Once the video was posted, people quickly commented on the boy's behavior, calling him a "brat" and "feral."
A McDonald's spokesperson told 7NEWS.com.au that they had referred the incident to authorities. Because it became a police matter, McDonald's was unable to comment further.
“The safety of our employees and our customers is our number one priority and we do not tolerate any form of anti-social behaviour in our restaurants,” she said.
