Teacher George Pointon has gained quite a following for his frank discussions with his six-year-old students, in which they reveal their thoughts and opinions in a remarkably candid way. Pointon jokes in his own bio that he is “exploiting children’s imagination for likes” but he is clearly a great teacher if he can get these kinds of responses from them.
In the newest round, Pointon asked his class if they “wanted to get something off their chest.”
The students took this question to mean different things. Some thought they were sharing a secret, some just stated facts, and some took the opportunity to try out some very dangerous opinions for a six-year-old. Can you imagine being anti-pizza at that age? It’s always nice to get a quick reminder of what it’s like to be a child figuring out the world and noticing certain things for the first time.
