In Florida (yes, it always happens in Florida), a couple is facing serious internet fury after a viral TikTok surfaced of them appearing to have their 6-month-old newborn tattooed.
Jayda Harris and her husband, who is unnamed, took their infant son, Stetson, to have a tattoo plastered onto his leg in August. They uploaded a video of the tattoo and have more than 14 million views.

In the video, the baby is in the dad’s lap as the tattoo artist inks “mom” on his leg inside of a heart. The child seems to be under no duress, which should set off alarm bells…
It’s fake.
Sort of.
Despite people decrying the tattoo, with comments raging from fury to horrified, the ink was, in fact, just an airbrush “tattoo”.
“Why would you get your baby a tattoo for? Like what the f–k is wrong with you people?” wrote in someone who didn’t realize it wasn’t real.
Another user cried, “Isn’t that illegal?”
Someone else was simple: “No, no, no.”
But as users realized that the tattoo was not permanent ink, but rather an airbrushed one that washes off in a few days, people thought it was cute.

“Was concerned before I took a second look lol, it’s so frickin cute,” “That’s so cute, it’s kinda like face paint,” wrote someone.
The video has been trending for over three months. Jayde posted a followup last week confirming that it was an airbrush and that the paint was nontoxic and it came off the very same night.
“I’m not exactly sure of the paint she [the artist] used,” she explained. “We had this done while we were at our local zoo. She did confirm it was nontoxic paint. It came off the same night.”
Thank goodness — and gosh, people, think before you rage!
