So many people are still more or less stuck at home, bored out of their minds as we all spend 2020 riding out a worldwide pandemic. For parents, this often means being stuck at home with your kids for days…weeks…even months at a time. It sounds exhausting.
But moms and dads are stepping up to the challenge. And by stepping up to the challenge, we definitely mean taking advantage of the situation and recording their kids in weird situations, because honestly, what else are you supposed to do at this point?
We’ve already seen the moms of TikTok record their babies playing with eggs, and now we’re seeing another messy trend — pouring water on your children and recording their reactions.
It’s a little messy, a little mean, and largely entertaining for those among us who are into videos of tiny humans being too small and new to understand anything happening in the world around them.
Some of the babies were super into it.
Hey, it’s summer and nobody’s hitting up the water parks right now. Who doesn’t need a little cool down?
Others were so offended!!
Even folks with older kids — and no kids at all — got in on the joke.
But on some occasions, kids flipped the trend and spilled water on their less than thrilled parents.
It doesn’t work as well when the target isn’t a perpetually confused baby, but the kids sure had fun!
