21 Times Kids Accidentally Roasted Their Parents

It’s impossible to predict what kids are going to say. Their brains just function differently than adults — which is to say that often, they haven’t figured out how to filter what comes out of their mouths just yet. And the results can be equal parts horrifying and amusing, depending on where exactly their word vomit is aimed when it comes spewing out.

Parents have generally learned to take whatever their little ones say in stride, but sometimes it still catches them by surprise. And when that’s the case, naturally the best thing to do is share these memorable moments with all of your twitter followers.

Writer Aubrey Hirsch sure felt that way when she jumped online to recount an incident that happened with, not her own son, but one of his classmates.

“Kid in my son’s class explained to me that she was sure he has two moms because he has ‘the pretty mom and the other mom.’” she wrote. “She described each to me in some detail. Reader, both are me.”

As heartwarming as it is to see kids these days seem pretty well-adjusted to the idea that some of their classmates may have two moms (or two dads), in this specific instance, one can only imagine that Hirsch didn’t feel too pleased while listening to this child describe “the other mom.”
