Just last week, a baby with an uncanny resemblance to actor Woody Harrelson went viral, and the actor himself took notice of her.

Twitter user Dani Grier Mulvenna shared a photo of her 9-month-old daughter, Cora, to her account, joking that the grinning infant looked exactly like Woody Harrelson. The actor, most recently starring in The Man From Toronto, certainly does share a striking resemblance to his baby counterpart—and the internet couldn’t get enough of it.

“Cora says, thank you all so much for the likes and retweets and also that she doesn’t always look like Woody [Harrelson], it’s just that when she does… she really really does,” Mulvenna said in a follow-up tweet after her first musing went viral.

The mother’s original post received over 29.9k retweets, 2.9k quote retweets, and 518.3k likes and was brought to the attention of Harrelson himself. He posted a screenshot of the viral tweet to his Instagram account and wrote a short ode to his tiny look-a-like.

Ode to Cora-

You’re an adorable child

Flattered to be compared

You have a wonderful smile

I just wish I had your hair

The mother understandably was overwhelmed to receive the poem from Harrelson, and has been tickled pink by the headlines her viral baby has been featured in since reaching internet stardom.

One particularly amusing one from Newshub stated, “Woman shocked after giving birth to baby that looks just like Woody Harrelson.”

“This is my favourite headline so far,” Mulvenna tweeted. “Like I was just there in hospital with a little Woody Harrelson in a blanket screaming WHHHHHHYYYYYY”

The mother also noticed a fatal error in her original tweet: she had misspelled Harrelson’s last name when she posted, and only noticed the mistake days later after it had gone viral.

“Oh my god, it took me two days and 445k likes to realise my phone corrected Harrelson to Harreslon 🙃,” she tweeted on August 5. The curse of there being no edit function on old tweets! At least she and daughter Cora have a lovely ode to remember the occasion by, spelling mistake and all.
