Having a threesome with two women is probably on the bucket list of most men. But something these men don’t consider is, what would happen if their girlfriend or wife ends up enjoying the other woman a lot more than expected? Well, that’s what happened to Theresa Rose from Portland, Oregon.
In an attempt to give her then-husband an amazing birthday gift, Theresa Rose arranged a threesome with another woman, which made her realize she was actually a lesbian.
Rose said had been unhappy in her marriage but couldn’t quite figure out the reason. But after the threesome, it occurred to her that her discontent was caused by how “emotionally shallow” her relationship was with her husband. Rose said she felt an instant “connection” with the other woman, and it showed her what was missing in her marriage.
The sudden revelation caused Rose to divorce her husband, and three weeks later, she began dating a woman named Jacqui Mettle.
“Experiencing that intimate interaction with a woman for the first time, the physical and emotional depth was [so intense],” Rose told the New York Post recently.
“I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is what’s been missing.’ After being with that woman, I said to myself, ‘This is why I’ve been so unhappy in my marriage.'”
Rose, who was raised in a strict Catholic home, was taught that “all gays go to Hell.” She said her upbringing forced her to hide her feelings towards women. When she came out to her then-husband, he was not supportive and got “really nasty.” Rose said he even went as far as to out her to her “very conservative” parents, as well as their mutual friends and Bible study group.
Rose said that being rejected by some of her loved ones led her down a dark path, and she even contemplated taking her own life. She said it wasn’t until she met Mettle that she began feeling hopeful again.
The two women now live together with Rose’s two sons and share their stories and daily lives on social media.
