This past year has been the year of Zoom — and Zoom oopsies. As people learn how to navigate the video conferencing software — or maybe become too comfortable with it — snafus have been made, both serious and not. Maybe you didn’t realize your camera or audio was on, perhaps a family member made a cameo appearance that was not necessary, or you got caught doing something inappropriate.
Alexandra Ceberio, 24, of Long Island, had just gotten a new sales job. She was on Zoom during a work training session, when she began ranting that she had gotten dressed up for the call but no one had their cameras on.
“My work from home fit today, some f*ckin’ bullsh*t, ’cause I got ready and everyone has their cameras off,” Ceberio said in a video she sent friends, which she later posted to her TikTok account.
Ceberio told BuzzFeed News the team had been on a break during the Zoom training, so she thought she could quickly send a Snap to some friends.

“I got this frizzy ass gym hair from yesterday, this shirt is from…” She apparently tried to recall the brand when a coworker said, “Hey guys, I can hear you, just so you’re aware.”
Ceberio’s friends told her to post the whoops to TikTok, where it has gone viral as people related to her horror and embarrassment. Ceberio explained that no one at work noted her work mistake or said if they had seen the TikTok.

People watched Ceberio react in shock when she realized that her new coworkers had heard her as she complained to friends.
“Luckily my boss or anyone important wasn’t on it, but it was still so embarrassing,” she said, laughing. “After the video ended I muted myself, and literally tried to change my voice for the rest of the call. I did not speak unless I was spoken to.”

“My boss and coworkers are pretty young, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they see it one day,” she added. “I can’t believe it blew up how it did.”
