A recently viral TikTok video shows a “wifi Karen” berating and threatening to call the police on her neighbor for changing their wifi password. The woman also threatens to kill the neighbor’s dog as long as she refuses to give up the credentials for the internet.
The video has been viewed on TikTok over 125,000 times by viewers and has been shared hundreds of times.
The TikTok, played out over six parts, begins as wifi Karen can be seen outside of the neighbor’s door attempting to gain access to the internet with a series of threats.
“I live here! It’s illegal,” she’s heard yelling from the doorstep. “Come outside, let’s talk. Give me the f—king WiFi before you get arrested, and your mom.”
She continues, saying “You have two seconds to give me the wifi. I need the wifi.”
From there, things seemingly escalate as the woman begins creepily smiling and waving through the door’s window at the person recording. She begins to threaten them again, now calling out that the neighbor’s dog will be at risk should they continue refusing her internet access.
“You’re not gonna f—k with my life, little b—tch,” she says.
The situation continues across all six videos via @contenthub on TikTok, with the woman continuing to yell and curse, as well as ringing the doorbell constantly.
It is unclear how the situation was mitigated, whether authorities were ever contacted, or if Wifi Karen ever gained access to the internet.
