Cynthia’s harmful substance charge came after she put Dennis’ sperm inside cupcakes that she gave to her students at Westside Junior High, according to authorities.

Sixty-eight other charges were dismissed under her plea deal and she will testify against Dennis at his trial.

A statement from Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry read, “She not only waived any right to appeal, and attempt to avoid conviction, but she also spared the victims from reliving her horrific crimes during this particular trial.”

Cynthia was sentenced to 40 years in prison today. Before sentencing, she gave an apology to her family, friends, coworkers, students, and victims. She is sentenced to hard labor with no probation or parole and will have to register as a sex offender for life.
