Porn star Ron Jeremy has been accused of sexual abuse and is currently in prison as he awaits trial. He has pleaded not guilty to charges of groping, assault, and 12 counts of rape, with allegations dating back as far as 1996 up until January 1st, 2020. Those charges include the assault of a 17-year-old girl in 2008 and a 15-year-old girl in 2004.
A new documentary from the BBC called Ron Jeremy: Fall of a Porn Icon has footage of some of the women involved in the trial speaking out for the first time. Unfortunately, BBC iPlayer is only available to view in the U.K., but LadBible watched it and reported back some of the quotes from victims.
One woman, Alexis Beth Miller worked in porn herself, which she says made her afraid to come forward.
“The night that the attack occurred I was walking towards the front of the restaurant and in walks my old friend Ron Jeremy,” she says. “There was one door left and that door was the door to the bathroom. He then proceeded to pull his pants down and push my head down at the same time. I froze.”
Miller added, “In the days after the attack, physically I was sore. Psychologically I gaslighted myself. At that point I was just a 20-something porn star. Who would give a f-ck?”
YouTuber Kat Blaque wrote that she also had a bad experience with Jeremy that she felt would be dismissed, tweeting, “I spoke to the BBC about my experience with Ron Jeremy at The Rainbow in 2018. One of the hardest parts of this conversation has been listening to just how many of us brushed it off like it was no big deal. And the larger culture of folks who reinforced that it was ‘just Ron.'”
The documentary also featured adult film director Jim Powers, who basically proved their point by saying, “I’ve been with Ron Jeremy at some these places. I’ve seen people coming up to him left and right, you know women hitting on him. When I think about the women who are making these allegations, I do think you have a good chunk of them are probably just in it for trying to get a payoff.”
He added, “In some of these cases, I just think people felt guilty about what they did afterwards and he’s taking the blame for it.”
As a performer, Jeremy has appeared in more than 2,000 adult films.
