Comedian Nick Cannon had previously claimed he was going to try celibacy until at least 2022, but it seems like that backfired after he recently announced even more babies are on the way.
The 41-year-old only recently welcomed his eighth child, Legendary Love, into the world with model Bre Tiesi.
He has since started a rumor that the mother of his twins Zion and Zillion, Abby De La Rosa, is pregnant again with his child. In July, De La Rosa and Cannon were in the Bahamas together. She posted an Instagram Reel of the pair of them snuggled up together where she gestured at the comedian and said, “Newly-engaged baby daddy.” They then both laughed. In the caption to the post, the model wrote, “And NO, it’s not with me! Lmaoooo Congratulations Nick!”
Ten days later, Legendary Love was born to Tiesi in what she described as an “all natural unmedicated home birth.” She went on to write, “This was the most humbling / limit pushing yet awakening and completely empowering experience.”
The birth was photographed and filmed, and the model posted a graphic YouTube vlog on her channel. (Viewer discretion advised!)
Tiesi’s divorce from NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel was finalized in 2021, and already had a noticeable baby bump when she and Cannon made an appearance at a baby shower back in January. They only confirmed her pregnancy afterward, when the comedian confirmed the rumors on The Nick Cannon Show.
“I think some people have their idea of conventional relationships and certain things, but we have a beautiful relationship,” Bre Tiesi told E! News’s Daily Pop. “Everything is so supportive and positive.”
Earlier this year, Cannon was invited to Angela Yee’s Lip Service podcast and the hosts asked him about his family — to which he replied cheekily, “Let’s just put it this way… the stork is on the way.”
Another of his baby mamas is also pregnant, it turns out: Brittany Bell, mother of two of his children, Golden Sagon and Powerful Queen, is also once again with child.
It appears that part of the reason Cannon has failed spectacularly at the celibacy he claimed to want to try out was due to the death of his and Alyssa Scott’s son Zen, who passed away at 5 months old from brain cancer.
As for Cannon’s explanation of his openly non-monogamous relationships with the mothers of his children? “I don’t want ownership over anybody. I don’t have ownership over any of the mothers. We created a beautiful entity…”
