Actress Annie Abrams shared alleged text messages between herself and Marilyn Manson in which the musician body-shamed Lana Del Rey.
Manson has been accused by actor Evan Rachel Wood and others of abuse and violence, with Wood saying that Manson “started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander or blackmail.”
Abrams began posting allegations against Manson on Instagram four days after Evan Rachel Wood named him as her abuser.
Abrams accuses Manson of torturing her psychologically and gaslighting her. She also claims that he called Lana Del Rey “Lasagna Del Ray” and saying he “dodged a bullet.”
“Not body shaming. Or whatever. But that pic is fucking crazy,” he added.
Abrams wrote a long post explaining what happened with Manson and how she was terrified to come forward:
“He is a manipulative, psychotic, terrifying individual and I am still suffering from the complete and utter brain defrag that he has performed on me,” she wrote.
“For the past six months, I’ve been manipulated, threatened, blackmailed…He would ‘joke’ about how I’m a good and nice girl but that if I did XYZ he could make me disappear without a trace.”
Manson has denied the allegations, posting on Instagram:
“Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality,” he wrote. “My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how – and why – others are now choosing to misinterpret the past, that is the truth.”
