It’s no secret that makeup can be a major game-changer — and face changer. For some, it merely highlights existing features, while truly skilled makeup artists can use it to completely transform someone’s look so that they’re unrecognizable.
TikToker @raydazzy has been showing off just how intense those transformations can be on her page, to the extent that a recent video has left viewers totally confused.
“What do you do on those days that you don’t feel that confident or fearless or powerful like you did out there?” pre-existing audio asks over an image of two older-looking women staring into the camera.
“Pretend,” another voice answers, and suddenly the two women are glamorous young beauties, completely unrecognizable from the previous clip.
The change left people reeling, with one viewer suggesting it “should be law anywhere in the planet to ban makeup n filter.”
“This is why we’re going swimming on the first date,” reads the top comment from @damion_bailey.
Anyone who looks at @raydazzy’s other videos can easily see that the supposed glow-up was actually a case of two extremes — both looks were makeup, and while the wool was still pulled over everyone’s eyes, it was not quite in the way some imagined.
“Ok this makes more sense you’re already flawless without makeup,” one viewer replied after seeing what @raydazzy really looks like rather than the 70-year-old version.
