Earlier this month, Kim Kardashian filed for a restraining order against a stalker who has sent her and her family over 30 abusive letters.
These letters included threats against her child, boyfriend Pete Davidson, and herself, as well as bomb threats against her business office.
The Blast obtained legal documents in which Kardashian revealed the “severe emotional distress” caused by the unnamed stalker, including the “disturbing sexual references” he made in the letters.
In Kardashian’s declaration, she stated how terrifying the whole situation is and how it is affecting her well-being. Kardashian also said that she has never interacted with the man before and that she has “no relationship” with him.
“There is absolutely no reason or legitimate purpose for him to be contacting me.”
Most concerning, she said that he has obtained her private home address.
“In multiple letters, he has threatened to kill me. He has made numerous false and delusional claims about me and my intimate relationships. He has also made disturbing sexual references about me in his letters,” Kardashian wrote.
“On April 25, 2022, a written bomb threat was made to my business office. I am informed that my private security analyzed the written bomb threat and found a number of similarities between the threat and prior letters,” she stated.
Kardashian’s declaration ended with her saying, “I have suffered and continue to suffer, severe emotional distress. I fear for my own safety. I also fear for the safety of those close to me, my family, and others at my workplace.”
The business mogul also said in the declaration that she is rightly concerned that the restraining order won’t be enough to keep the man away from her and her family.
“I am concerned with a restraining order in place, he will continue to escalate his threats and will attempt to physically harm or even kill me.”
Kardashian’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, wrote in submitted legal documents about the severity of the stalker’s threats, saying, “In these letters, [he] made numerous violent threats against Ms. Kardashian. In addition, he made numerous sexual comments regarding Ms. Kardashian and her partners. He further threatened that he would take actions that would cause Ms. Kardashian and her family to be imprisoned.”
“He threatened Ms. Kardashian’s family, referencing Ms. Kardashian’s children,” Holley added, noting that the stalker warned Kardashian that she is on his “hit list” and “must die soon.”
One of the disturbing letters that Kardashian received says, “Cause of your most recent action, I put you on my HIT LIST. If I ever see you in New York or your boyfriend in Los Angeles I will carry it out that day.”
The stalker added the threat, “Pete must and will die this weekend and you next weekend.”
It is unclear what the “recent action” mentioned in the letter could be referring to.
A temporary restraining order has been put in place by a Los Angeles-based judge. This written order legally prevents the man from contacting either Kardashian or Davidson or to come within 100 feet of her house.
There is a hearing set for June 13 for a long-term restraining order.
