Kim Kardashian has been largely silent while her ex-husband Kanye West creates a difficult environment for her and their children. And you know what? That’s fine. She doesn’t owe anyone anything when it comes to her personal life or children.
But now, she’s clapped back at West via Instagram. West shared a now-deleted post of his and Kim’s eldest daughter North’s backpack, which featured pins of Kim, a cartoon alien, and him. He wrote: “This was on my daughters back pack when I was ‘allowed’ to see her last week. This is why I go so hard for my family I am wired to protect my family at all cost As the priest of my home Don’t worry Northy God is still alive.”
I don’t know what the offense was with the pins, but Kardashian was not pleased to see her ex pushing the narrative that he never gets to see his children.
“Please stop with this narrative, you were just here this morning picking up the kids for school,” Kim wrote. You can see the big, old eye roll that surely accompanied her typing this out.
Additionally, on the most recent episode of The Kardashians in the behind-the-scenes-footage, we see Kim being very understandably exasperated with the situation.
“It’s exhausting,” she says of the criticism she says she receives. “Today, I’m just exhausted.”
Kendall then brings up West, telling Kim, “And then it goes into the whole situation that you’re dealing with.”
Kim then responded, “Kanye posted, ‘I can’t see the kids.’ And I’m like, ‘You were here this morning. Stop with this narrative.'”
“I can’t take it anymore,” she said. “But then, I don’t wanna go back and forth on the internet.”
Khloe and Kendall accuse West of “gaslighting” Kim, with Khloe saying, “It’s all gaslighting.” Then, Kendall agrees that it’s the “common theme” of Kim’s life.
Earlier this month, Khloe engaged with West online over the same claims, telling him: “Ye, I love you. I don’t want to do this on social media but YOU keep bringing it here. You are the father of my nieces and nephews and I’m trying to be respectful but please STOP tearing Kimberly down and using our family when you want to deflect.”
