RIP, Adidas, hello… Skechers?
Kanye West is trying to find a new home for his Yeezy shoes after Adidas cut ties with the rapper earlier this week.

Adidas announced on Tuesday that it would be severing its relationship with Kanye West after West made antisemitic comments, which have landed West in serious hot water. Brands are dropping him left and right, his agent ditched him, and he just basically seems to be imploding.
Sources close to Kanye told TMZ that he visited the Skechers headquarters to talk to the CEO but was quickly turned away.
Good for you, Skechers.
The meeting was not scheduled with management, so it sounds like West basically just crashed the Manhattan Beach, CA offices.
Skechers said that Kanye, “arrived unannounced and without invitation at one of Skechers’ corporate offices in Los Angeles. Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation.”

And your daily dose of hilarious irony:
Skechers is owned and operated by a Jewish family. Robert Greenberg founded the shoe company and his son Michael currently runs it.
KANYE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING.
A spokesperson told TMZ, “Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West. We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech. Again, West showed up unannounced and uninvited to Skechers corporate offices.”
Before he struck out, West grabbed a bagel at a local spot looking very much not like a man who recently lost $900 million.
Or, IDK, I’ve never come close to $900 million; maybe you don’t even notice it when you’re that (unwarrantedly) wealthy.
West has been dropped over his anti-semitic comments by Balenciaga, his legal team, Adidas, and talent agency CAA.
