Look, dating sucks. I imagine being a celebrity makes it easier, but WTF do I know: I’m not a celebrity. I am single though. (Chris Evans, call me).
Recently on her Whine Down podcast, Jana Kramer said she dated Chris Evans for a bit after meeting him in a club.
“I was 26-ish,” she said. “He was younger. He was definitely known. He wasn’t Captain America yet, but he was the heartthrob, cutie.”
“So we went on a few dates,” Jana explained. “I can’t remember how many dates it was, I just remember the last date.”
Eventually, later that evening she went to hang out with Chris and some friends at his house in Los Angeles.
“It was a fun time, but I was getting a little sleepy and so I was like, ‘I’m gonna go to bed,'” she said. “I had asparagus for dinner that night. So I went to the bathroom and he immediately went after me. … And so that’s the last interaction that I remember, is him going into the bathroom after I just went to the bathroom with asparagus pee.”
She then never heard from Chris Evans again and quipped about doing “the asparagus walk of shame” the following day.
“And I don’t remember cuddling that night,” she noted. “That’s always been in the back of my mind whenever I think about or see Chris Evans or Captain America, and I’m like, ‘I had stinky pee.'”
“And to this day, I’m actually kind of mortified,” Jana said.

She did clarify the incident a little further as the story gained traction. She explained via an Instagram story that “he didn’t ghost me”.
“We just stopped talking and it wasn’t because of that,” she said Tuesday. “Like, I was just saying an embarrassing moment. Can we all just like laugh at ourselves?”
