A TikTok video of a marriage cake cutting has people worried for the bride after her brand-new husband threw an entire, three-tier cake at her face.
Posted by the bride Kelsey Carson @kelsboyd3, the video currently has over 3 million views. It shows a Carson putting some cake on the groom Tony’s face, as is fairly customary.
However, the groom then picks up the entire cake, and tosses it directly at her face. She winds up stumbling into the table nearby, which people shocked by what they saw.
The video has left many on social media screaming, “red flag” for potential abuse.
The Daily Mail website captured a number of comments on the video, because the feature was turned off.
“That’s not just aggressive but so embarrassing??? If he’s comfortable doing that in front of all her friends and fam… scary,” said one comment about the cake incident.
Another said: “Ohhhhh HELLLL NO!!!! Major RED FLAG.”
One commented: “Divorce on the next level.” Another implored: “RUN GIRL. Anger issues hell no.”
“That looked like it hurt,” said another said of the cake impact. “He went way too far. If he did this in front of people what does he do behind closed doors?”
However, she’s left the video up on her TikTok, perhaps as a sign that the dessert throw wasn’t a major red flag at all, but a sign of their playfulness.
