Who would guess that a date at a Panera could go wrong? For TikToker @meganelizabeth1016, the red flags were already waving before she entered the bread-centric eatery. Her viral TikTok about her experience with a Tinder match’s bizarre request is like a textbook chapter on who you should not meet up with, but she went to Panera anyway. Why? To spite him.
It started with her saying that this guy she never met made a very specific demand of her before their date: That she not look like a “goth witch” because he “doesn’t like it.”

Naturally, she did just the opposite: Megan painted her eyelids, drew in some thick black eyebrows, added some black lipstick, and threw on a black outfit for good measure.

And then said she’d show up in full goth regalia:

Adding, “I’ll buy my own Asiago cheese bagel and listen to Slipknot in a booth by myself.”
The TikToker made good on her promise, then texted her date, who is of course named Trevor, that she was there.

He texted back that he SAW HER WALK IN AND LEFT.

“All girls are the same,” he wrote. “I asked one thing… for you to look pretty and not dress like that.”
So….this has happened before? Maybe he should stop making this specific request.
Wow, he really meant what he said. And he added that it would be embarrassing to be seen out with her??? That’s wild to me. Much more embarrassing to pass up a chance of getting laid.
While I personally would not have gone to this date under any circumstances, in any costume, Megan is TikTok’s current hero, including some remarks from both Panera and the Tinder app:

Tinder, why are you trying to be cute when all Trevors on your platform? Anyway, at least Megan had fun with some weirdo Trevor instead of just what would have assuredly been an awful, awful date.
