Miller was at a bar that was mostly frequented by locals, said Hawaii Police Assistant Chief Kenneth Quiocho. Quiocho said the song aggravated Miller.

Described by police as a 29-year-old visitor from Vermont, Miller has apparently been the source of at least 10 police calls.

Hours after the karaoke bar incident, police escorted Miller off a Hilo property. Court records show that a couple filed a petition on Tuesday asking for a temporary restraining order against Miller. The petition accuses Miller of stealing some of their belongings, including a passport and wallet. It also alleges that Miller “burst into the bedroom of the petitioner(s) and threatened” the alleged male victim by “saying ‘I will bury you and your slut wife.'” According to sources, Miller had allegedly been staying at a hostel where the couple was also staying.
