It’s her first appearance since announcing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis.

Christina Applegate has finally achieved her star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and fans, co-stars, and family members came out in droves to help her celebrate the incredible achievement.
The ceremony was held on November 14 and people lined the street to celebrate with Applegate. She was meant to get the star in 2020, but a few setbacks (remember the pandemic?) kept it from happening until now.
Applegate, born November 25 1971, rose to fame as a child star in Fox’s Married…. with Children. She played Kelly Bundy, the dumb, ditsy older daughter of the family.

She gave us with tons of great zingers and one liners throughout the run of the show.
Since she was five years old, Applegate dreamed of having her own star on the Walk of Fame. She has won a Primetime Emmy Award and been nominated seven times. She has also won four Golden Globes, a Tony, and starred in the NBC sitcom Jesse, as well as had wonderful turns in Friends. Most recently, you can catch Applegate in the Netflix series Dead to Me.

The star reveal was her first public appearance since her MS diagnosis in 2021. MS is a disease in which the immune system attacks the nerve fibers, which causes problems in communication between the brain and the body. There is no cure.
“Oh, by the way, I have a disease. Did you not notice? I’m not even wearing shoes!” Christina joked in her speech.
The most important person in this world is my daughter,” Christina continued. “You are so much more than even you know. You are so beautiful and kind and loving and smart and interesting. ”
“I am blessed every day that I get to wake up and take you to your school… You are my everything. Thank you for standing beside me through all of this.”
She called her co-stars Katey Sagal and David Faustino as well as Linda Cardellini and Liz Feldman her “family”.
“I love that I started with you two and ended it with you two,” she said, adding, “You are my people. You are my loves.”
She concluded, “It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a**hole blocks it.”
