Chrissy Teigen posted to her Instagram Story on Friday with a photo of a series of IVF needles and capsules.

A day after posting to her Story, the cookbook author posted a photo of herself doing yoga with the announcement that she was once again undergoing IVF treatments.
“hiiii. I posted about it in my stories, but I wanted to let you guys know I’m balls deep in another IVF cycle to save as many eggos as I possibly can and hopefully make some strong, healthy embryos. I honestly don’t mind the shots…they make me feel like a doctor/chemist…but the bloating is a bitch”

Teigen went on to add a request to stop asking if she was pregnant because even the most well-intentioned question can be mentally painful to hear.
“I humbly beg you to stop asking if I’m pregnant because while I know it’s said with excited, good intentions, it just kind of sucks to hear because I am the opposite of pregnant! But also like please stop asking people, anyone, if they’re pregnant.”
The excitement is understandable, but each person’s pregnancy journey is private to themselves and their partner if they have one, and you never know what that person has gone through, if they are able to become pregnant, have recently lost a pregnancy, or any other number of situations.
“I said this in the comments and got yelled at because the internet is wild but I’d rather be the one to tell you and not some poor woman who will look you in the eyes through tears and that’s how you finally learn. Anyhow, Iove youuuuu??”
Teigen and Legend are no strangers to loss.
A year and a half has passed since Chrissy Teigen and John Legend announced the pre-term loss of their son Jack. Their third child, a son they had taken to calling Jack while Teigen was pregnant, did not make it to term. In October of 2020, the couple shared the news of his loss in a series of black and white photos on Teigen’s Instagram page.

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.”
Teigen and Legend have two children they conceived with the aid of IVF treatments, five-year-old Luna Simone and three-year-old Miles Theodore. The couple is very open about their loss, and each has a bracelet with Jack’s name inscribed, along with similar bracelets for Luna and Miles.
