For the past three years, the grassroots #FreeBritney campaign has brought attention to Britney Spears’ 13-year conservatorship. Since 2008, her father Jamie Spears has been in charge of her entire life. In June, Britney Spears went in front of a judge to give her testimony, and give the public a better idea of what she has been going through for the majority of her adult life.
During her remarks, Spears said she is traumatized from the conservatorship and shocked the world when she revealed her father forced her to keep her IUD in.
“I wanted to take the (IUD) out so I could start trying to have another baby,” she said. “But this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have children – any more children.”
The torture has been so bad that Spears said, “The people who did that to me should not walk away so easily.”
Since her testimony, the #FreeBritney movement has grown stronger and Spears has seen a few wins, including permission to choose her own lawyer and her father agreeing to step down “when the time is right,” according to a filed court document.
With these wins, Spears has been using her Instagram account (where many #FreeBritney members search for hidden clues) to reveal more of herself — personally and physically.
Lately, Spears has been posting pics on Instagram of herself topless, outside in the sun. The first post came two weeks after she was allowed to pick her own lawyer.
In the caption, she simply put a potted plant emoji.
A few days later, Spears posted another image captioned with emojis. Those of the #FreeBritney persuasion were wondering if the topless posts meant something more and some were concerned Britney wasn’t the one posting them at all.
Nearly one month after she posted her first topless photo, Spears uploaded a carousel of topless images and explained why she has been posting so many lately.
In a caption for her most recent post, she wrote:
No guys … I didn’t get a boob job in just a week … nor am I pregnant … I have boobs in these pics cause I devoured food ???? !!!! Before I show you more pics of my body … I want you to understand my thoughts on exposing my skin !!!! In my opinion it’s quite twisted the immediate response of when any woman is hot and they want to shed a layer … no … I’m not talking in a strip club or a performance … just on a practical scale of being in your car and realizing you’re wearing a stupid long sleeve shirt in the summer !!!! The immediate reaction to any woman who does this after shedding a layer is DAMN I FEEL BETTER … … therefore you think you look better !!!

And with it being summer, we get where our Brit Brit’s head is at. It’s HOT OUT.
She continues, and opens up about how performing often made her body-conscious:
I’ve had a billion shows where I’ve done that and to my horror uhhh we’ll … sometimes I didn’t look so great … TOO MANY TIMES and it’s embarrassing as fuck but in my imagination it felt great !!!! I mean I don’t want anybody to see the big dimple on my ass but I feel like performing made me too self conscious about my body and that’s not attractive …..
And then shares how being naked helps see herself in a lighter way and in her purest form.
anyways I bet you’re wondering why I’d expose my body NOW … well it’s because I was born into this world naked and I honestly feel like the weight of the would has been on my shoulders and it’s made me view myself that way !!!! I wanted to see myself in a lighter way … naked … like the way I was born and to me looking back at my pictures when I shoot it’s insane the psychology in seeing myself in my purest form gives evidence that pain … hurt … tears … and heavy burdens aren’t who I am. I am a woman …. a beautiful … sensitive woman who needs to look at myself in my purest form !!! No … I’m not going to do topless pics for the rest of my life cause that would get boring but it sure as hell helps when you need to be enlightened ????????♀️????????♀️????????♀️ !!!!
She even made her millions of fans smile by acknowledging the “Free Britney” jokes in relation to her little Britneys.
