A TikToker is sharing just how much she makes in tips while working at a party venue in Scotsdale, Arizona. Nina Angelina (@ninageruntho) made a now-viral clip demonstrating what it’s like to work as a bottle girl and how much money she walks away with after one day’s work.
We know people spend a ton of money on drinks — but at exclusive places, it can be really easy to rack up a huge amount on bottle service. So if you’re working at a hot spot, it’s possible to bring home bank just in tips.
Nina starts her video with a Red Bull can getting emptied into a cup and then crushed. The caption reads: “Bottle Girl vlog.” Nina dances to a Taylor Swift song and says that she has been assigned to the “cabana section for the first time ever.” Sounds swanky, right?
The next part of the video shows what seems like a VIP area. At clubs like this, in order to sit in these privileged spots, you usually have to spend a minimum on drinks. Gratuities are also associated with these tables, so if you’re a server and get assigned to VIP, it’s likely you can expect to earn more — hopefully, if your customers are cool.
On two specific tickets, Nina shows that she did indeed receive fantastic tips while working in the cabana section. The first bill shows a subtotal of $9,291.55. The group left her a tip of $1,800. The second bill shows a $10,855.14 subtotal with her tip coming out to $3,000. Not bad at all!
Nina’s video had TikTokers asking what the heck they were doing in their current jobs and how they can get in on Nina’s deal.
