Bhad Bhabie, bane of my spellcheck, has claimed in a recent video that she made an obscene amount of money on OnlyFans.
She says she not only cashed in $1 million in just six hours, but has made over $50 million in a year. One year! Fans were shocked to learn that she earned so much so quickly and Bhad Bhabie had receipts to prove it.
The TMZ clip quickly went viral, so she took to her Instagram page to post her OnlyFans earnings from April 2021 to April 2022 and.. yup. $52 million.
She made the claim at a speech at Oxford (yes) University (again: yes).
She spoke to students at the prestigious university and the audience was packed. Kids waited for hours to get a spot in the standing-room-only event.
Let’s take a pause here and wonder: is this what passes for the intelligentsia now? Is this where we are? Some rand-o celeb “discovered” by Dr. Phil is giving speeches at one of the world’s foremost institutions of learning? Why. Why is this what we value?
I digress, obviously.
So up Bhad Bhabie goes, taking part in a Q&A with the president of the Oxford Union. They talked about becoming famous at such a young age, her alleged abusive time at Turn-About Ranch, and making all that money on OnlyFans.
And her new scholarship fund.
I’m dying here.
She partnered with the Educapital Foundation to create a 1.7 million dollar scholarship to provide postgrad grants and full scholarships.
“While developing this scholarship programme, it was great collaborating with Educapital’s Aisha Rodriguez and Dr. Brenita Mitchell, both amazing women giving amazing opportunities to the next generation of entrepreneurs,” she said.
“We didn’t want to just give out tuition funds but also help the grads with startup capital to launch their own businesses. I can’t wait to see what these young hustlers do.”
