The worst dates often come back to haunt you in unexpected ways, as they did for TikToker @your.big.sis.em, or Emily. Emily went on a truly horrible date years ago that is still causing her trouble, but at least now she can turn it into content.
Emily has a podcast called Been there Bestie and she shared a teaser clip on TikTok where she tells a story about a time she decided not to have sex with a guy and he tried to sue her. He heard the clip and sent her a cease and desist—so all his moves are the same.
“I released a teaser on TikTok of my podcast, which you should go listen to because it’s out today!” she explained in her first viral TikTok on the drama. “It was a clip of me telling a story about the guy who tried to sue me because I wouldn’t hook up with him. Less than 12 hours after that was posted I got served with a cease and desist.”
“So I took it down and I went to talk to a lawyer and apparently it’s not slander because nobody can tell who he is. And also, is it slander if it’s true?”
The real juicy stuff is about how she went home with the guy in question after matching on Tinder, who is literally named Chad, and she says that on the day of their date he took off his underwear…and she was hit…by a smell…
“There [were] skid marks in his undies and he had not washed in a long time and he needed some new fruit of the looms,” she explained, though I wish she hadn’t.
Just the thought of that makes me gag, but Emily just decided to leave and “abort mission” as she says. Good for her! But then, she says, “A few days later he had paid someone to serve me with papers to, like, sue me for ‘breaking a verbal contract.'”
Emily says she never stated she would sleep with Chad in the first place, which doesn’t even matter because you can’t sue people into sleeping with you. At the time, she made an appointment to speak with Chad’s dad who works as a lawyer and tattled on him. He left her alone, but he is now a lawyer and working with his pop.
She shared a picture of the new cease and desist to prove she was telling the truth, though I must admit it doesn’t really prove anything. It does make a good story:
Commenters suggested she complains to the Bar Association, but Emily said she didn’t feel right about ruining his career.
She has certainly ruined a lot of days for him though, if he’s still so obsessed. Just wash your butt, dude, there are plenty of fish in the sea.
