Body language is certainly an important factor in how we interact with other people. But just because most people are aware of that doesn’t mean they have any idea how to interpret it correctly.
Case in point: one Twitter user who actually has the word “alpha” in his handle has apparently dedicated his social media to “educating” men on how they should pose with their partners so as to “correctly” display their masculinity.
Most recently, this has taken the form of instructions — complete with photographs — regarding where they should be pointing their crotches.
Immediately, this is one of those things that’s so absurd it’s hard to know if we’re being pranked or if a subset of the species is truly this insecure.
As pointed out by The Daily Dot, this is not @alpharivelino’s first foray into attempting to teach men how they should or shouldn’t tilt certain parts of their bodies so as to maintain some sort of dominance in the relationship.
Naturally, there are some desperate people who fall for this nonsense, but the majority of the comments are very concerned for those people, as well as for Rivelino himself.
Others just took the opportunity to dunk, because there may be no chance of recovering from believing nonsense like this.
The only lesson to be learned from a Twitter account like this is to not be anything like this.
