No teacher ever believes that the dog ate your homework. But just imagine what your parents would have said if you’d ever tried to tell them that the dog drove their golf cart into their car.
Well, in one family’s case—it’s the truth!
One family recently shared a video on their family TikTok that featured CCTV footage of their beloved pup, Titan, taking the golf cart for a joy ride… into the automobile parked in their driveway. He even gets out at the end of the clip and inspects for damage!
Initially, the parents were certain their kids had been the mischief-making culprits behind the collision. (They admitted as much in a thread on the TikTok video.) But when their progeny continued to insist upon their own innocence, the parents skeptically decided to review the security footage. What they found was that while Titan might still be their goodest boy, he’s also got a streak of “bad boy” thrill-seeking tendencies. Recognizing the hilarity of the situation, they decided to share it with the rest of us (you can also catch the widescreen version on YouTube).
The video opens with Titan casually sniffing around the cart; as it captures his interest, he decides to climb in—something he must have witnessed other family members do plenty of times, after all! Shortly after Titan gets himself situated in the cart, it begins to move.
Titan’s brief joyride takes him in a large semi-circle, ending with a literal bang! as he drives the cart into the family car. Then, just as a human would do, Titan climbs out and inspects the point of collision.
